We love you, Bernie!
I remember hearing that the majority of doctors in favour of outlawing abortion were ironically younger doctors, because they’d never personally experienced the horrors of trying to save the lives of women who’d been forced to get illegal (and unsafe) abortions. Older doctors, who had experienced the bad old days firsthand, were almost unanimously in favour of legal, safe, clean abortions.
